Our jewelry comes from groups of Huichol Indians in Mexico and Mayan Indians in Guatemala. All the beaded jewelry is made with needles rather than looms. This process requires more skill and, as you will see, the results are beautiful.
All our Huichol jewelry is created with tinier size 15 beads which are not usually available in Mexico and extremely strong stringing material. The fastenings are balls-and-loops and afford two lengths. We can say with confidence that our earrings, necklaces and bracelets don’t break. In fact, we guarantee them, and we’ll replace them if you ever have any issues. Just contact us for a replacement.
The exquisite work and stunning beauty of these wearable works of art are difficult to capture via photography. When you visit our online shop, double click on the images to expand and see the jewelry in detail.
Necklaces are made using very tiny size 15 seed beads interspersed with larger faceted accent beads. The work is extremely fine and they are very comfortable to wear.
Bracelets are made using very unique and beautiful color combinations and a variety of patterns. They feel silky smooth on the wrist and are highly durable, due to the use of the very tiny size 15 seed beads and the amazing workmanship. When selecting bracelets, the main issue is which one to pick; they are all so beautiful and unique! The ball-and-loop fastenings offer two different lengths.
Our earrings are classic Huichol designs and constructed with very tiny size 15 seed beads. Other accent beads are incorporated, updating them so they are truly unique. They are stunning in their detail, color combinations and workmanship. Earrings come in two lengths. We also carry other authentic Huichol earrings with larger size beads.
We carry wonderful Guatemalan beaded jewelry from several womens’ beading collectives. These Mayan Indian women are always innovating and incorporating new styles of beaded jewelry that look so beautiful on the neck. See our shop to view them.
