This black Oaxacan ‘twisted’ vase is decorated by cutting out a series of holes in the clay. One side has a lovely flower motif. The base and top are actually triangular and ingeniously twisted from bottom to top.

Almost architectural in appearance, it is exquisitely made and burnished by hand. It could even be showcased, on display with a spotlight. It is a little over 6 inches tall and 3 inches wide.
